Founded in 2006, the Teacher of Color Recruitment Fair was established with a dual mission: to serve as a gateway for recruiting and retaining teachers of color in independent, charter, online and public schools, and to highlight teaching as a rewarding and impactful career choice for both new and experienced educators.
We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn from exceptional, diverse educators who reflect the richness of their communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap by supporting schools in hiring outstanding, outstanding teaching candidates who inspire excellence and inclusion.
